Lancers Move On

Lancers beat out Petrolia Squires today in Game 2 of the 3 game series, 5-1.

After the Lancers pulled out a 4-2 win on Friday night in Petrolia, the boys were trying to finish it. A very scrappy Petrolia team showed up with 8 skaters and a goalie to try to hold off the Lancers.
Petrolia held a 1-0 lead after 1, but Coach Simpson riled the boys up and pushed them to lead 2-1, after 2. Then with the Squires wore down, we were able to get 3 more in the 3rd, to put them away.
We know move on to either play Elora or Tavistock, depending on Miverton vs Shallow Lake.  We will know next weekend.  Stay tuned.

The Teddy Bear Toss game was a huge success, as can be seen in the pictures.  We had over 50 kids entered in the chuck-a-puck and a full house upstairs for the wings!  Unfortunately, Durham outplayed us and won 4-1.
